Dr. Halima Mo'alim Salad Iman is a distinguished Somali medical doctor, academic leader, and humanitarian dedicated to strengthening healthcare and education across Somalia. As the Founder and current Rector of African University, and Founder of the OB/GYN, Fertility & Nutrition Center, she has played a pivotal role in advancing medical services, empowering women, and expanding access to higher education.
With decades of service in both urban and remote communities, Dr. Halima embodies excellence, compassion, and visionary leadership.
Her work extends far beyond administrative leadership-she has led mobile medical teams, conducted fieldwork in rural regions, and supported thousands of Somali families during crises.
